1. Services
Adam Burton Bloodstock provides professional services including:
• Bloodstock Advisory & Acquisition
• Nominations Advice
• Race Planning Consultancy
• Jockey Representation & Career Management
The scope of work for each client will be agreed in writing prior to commencement. Services may vary depending on the nature of the engagement, investment level and agreed objectives.
2. Fees & Payments
• Fee structures (retainer, commission, consultancy or project-based) will be outlined in writing before services begin.
• Commission-based agreements will be clearly defined prior to any purchase, sale or nomination.
• Payment terms must be adhered to as agreed.
• Late payments may result in suspension of services.
All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
3. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
• Provide accurate financial parameters and investment objectives
• Disclose relevant ownership, partnership or syndicate arrangements
• Respond to recommendations, documentation and approvals in a timely manner
• Ensure sufficient funds are available for agreed purchases, nominations or professional fees
Delays in communication or funding may impact purchasing opportunities, race entries or strategic timelines.
4. Independence & Conflicts
Adam Burton Bloodstock operates as an independent advisory service.
• All advice is provided in good faith and in the best interests of the client.
• Any potential conflict of interest will be disclosed where applicable.
• Recommendations are based on professional judgement, industry knowledge and available data at the time.
5. Risk & Performance
Horse racing and bloodstock investment involve inherent financial risk.
• No guarantee is given regarding race performance, breeding success, resale value or financial return.
• Recommendations are based on informed analysis, but outcomes remain subject to variables outside our control, including health, training, race conditions and market fluctuations.
Clients acknowledge and accept the speculative nature of the industry.
6. Intellectual Property & Confidentiality
• Strategic documents, reports and analysis provided remain the intellectual property of Adam Burton Bloodstock unless otherwise agreed.
• Client information, purchasing strategies and financial details will be treated as confidential unless disclosure is authorised or legally required.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate services in writing as outlined in the individual agreement.
• Any outstanding fees, commissions or agreed expenses must be settled prior to termination being finalised.
• Commission agreements relating to completed purchases or nominations remain payable as contracted.
8. Limitation of Liability
Adam Burton Bloodstock shall not be liable for:
• Financial losses arising from racing or breeding performance
• Veterinary issues, injury or mortality
• Market downturns or resale fluctuations
• Decisions made by third parties including trainers, jockeys or racing authorities
Liability is limited to the value of fees paid for the specific service provided
